Sunday Best Griffons is a small kennel dedicated to breeding Wirehaired Pointing Griffons that thrive as both loyal family companions and capable outdoor partners. Our goal is to place each puppy in a home where they are truly part of the family-living indoors, included in family daily life, and given the exercise and mental stimulation this intelligent breed needs.

We believe the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is a special breed. They are in tune with their people, eager to please and a joy to work with both in the home and in the field. With a nature that is friendly and compassionate, and with a strong desire to learn, Griffons are easy to live with and highly adaptable-whether that means hunting, boating, hiking, or simply relaxing with the family. 

At Sunday Best Griffons we are passionate about matching our puppies with families who value companionship, structure and an active lifestyle. These dogs are at their best when they are mentally engaged, physically exercised, and closely bonded with their humans. We take pride in raising dogs that are not only talented outdoors but also gentle, loving and deeply connected to the people they call their own. 

Sunday Best Griffons, LLC:

• registers litters with NAVHDA and AKC 

• tests dams for hips, elbows, eyes, thyroid and K locus test(important for coat color)

• adults have Natural Ability titles with NAVHDA and Junior Hunter titles with AKC

• pride ourselves on communication, pictures, always being available for future pup questions, and1st year birthday card

• do not fly our pups, and conducts a phone interview and deposit list one year ahead of time

• places our pups based on puppy aptitude test and buyers' top 3-4 picks (videos sent and open to visits at 6 weeks of age)

• pups go home at 8 weeks of age, with microchip, tails docked to 2/3 tail length, shots, wormed, sound conditioned, intro to water, bird introduction, socialized with kids and dogs

• have a 72 hour health guarantee and purchase agreement, breeding restrictions on all pups

• deposit agreement

We are looking for homes that intend to be active in the outdoors with their dogs, and have them live indoors with the family.  Nothing makes us happier than hearing from our new puppy families on how they are progressing.
